The Japanese Strategic Self-Defence Force (JSSDF) is a private military corporation primarily based in the Japanese Archipelago Sector. One of the most powerful PMCs in the world, the JSSDF is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Takaoka Group. One of the most technologically advanced and well-funded PMCs, the JSSDF's potent strength is regularly outsourced to a wide variety of groups and organisations, including the UN Peacekeeping Force itself.

Originally the national military of the now-defunct nation of Japan, the JSSDF was privatised after Japan's government agreed to merge with the United Nations. It was acquired by the Takaoka Group in one of the largest purchases in the history of the megacorporation.

The JSSDF includes land, sea and air forces, as well as its own cyber warfare division.
